   My Xbox Game downloads resets whenever I turn off my PC or pause it.

   I just bought the xbox pc game pass, and decided to download ARK (140gb). And my wifi is pretty slow, so i left my pc up and downloading during the night. I wake up to around 65-70gb being downloaded and I pause it to get into my online class. When i click
   resume it starts over from the beginning, I had the same problem when installing a lighter game when I had to restart my PC.

   Is there any solution to this? The only good games in the pass are the big ones. I simply cannot have my PC running for around 24 hours, without pausing it at some point. This is extremely annoying, and if there is no solution I most likely will cancel my
   subscription.

   Would really appreciate it if someone knew a fix for this.

   Resuming Downloading

   So I can turn off my console and move it if I pause the download first? What if I just turned it off without pausing?

   I'll just have to wait it out.. oh well.

   I've tried pretty much everything to no success..

   1. Tired pausing and resuming the download.

   2. Paused the download. Turned off the XBOX.. turned it back on. resumed the download.

   3. Paused the download. Turned off the XBOX. Unplugged it for 30 seconds. Plugged it back in. Turned back on the XBOX. Resumed the download. Speeds still slow.

   Them's the breaks.

   Disconnecting an external hard drive while having paused downloads present

   Go to "My Games & Apps", find your game in the download queue, and pause it (press "(≡)" and find the pause option).

   Now, you can turn everything off and pack up. Once you get connected to the other place's internet, you can resume the download.

   So, I Just Got Skyrim, but Have Never Played An Elder Scrolls Game Before...

   I paused the game in the middle of the first dragon sequence and it froze and crashed my Xbox... Had to turn it off and on again. Is that common?
